About Wordle
Wordle is a free word-guessing game where a secret five-letter word is chosen at random and you have six tries to find it. Type a guess and every letter is colored instantly: green when it sits in the correct spot, yellow when the letter is in the word but somewhere else, and grey when it isn't in the word at all. Duplicate letters are scored correctly, so a repeated letter only lights up as many times as it truly appears in the answer.
Unlike the New York Times daily puzzle, there is no single "today's word" and no once-a-day limit here — this is Wordle unlimited. Press New Game whenever you want a fresh random word, so you can play one round or a hundred, warm up before the official daily, or just keep going after you've solved it. Because each puzzle is random rather than the shared daily answer, you won't find today's NYT hint on this page, but you do get unlimited practice at the exact same six-guess format.
