About Minesweeper
Minesweeper is the classic logic puzzle where you clear a grid without detonating the hidden mines, and this version runs right in your browser with nothing to install. Pick a Beginner board (9x9 with 10 mines) or an Intermediate board (16x16 with 40 mines), then start uncovering cells. Your very first click is always safe — mines are only placed after you begin — so you never lose on the opening move.
Not sure how to play? Left-click or tap a cell to reveal it. A revealed number tells you how many of the eight neighboring cells hide a mine, and you use those numbers to work out which nearby cells are safe and which to avoid. Right-click on desktop, or switch on Flag Mode on a phone or tablet, to plant a flag on any cell you suspect. The numbers follow the traditional color code (1 blue, 2 green, 3 red, and up), so you can read the board at a glance. Clear every safe cell to win.
