About Business Days Calculator
Count the working days between two dates or project a deadline forward. In counting mode, pick a start and end date to see the total business days (Monday to Friday) alongside total days and weekend days, with any holidays you add left out of the total. In add mode, enter a start date and a number of business days to find the resulting date, skipping weekends and holidays.
The calculator is completely free with no sign-up, and it runs entirely in your browser. Your dates and holiday list are never uploaded to a server, and everything is computed in your local time zone so results never drift by a day.

- Yes, it is completely free with no account, sign-up, or usage limits. You can count business days or add business days to a date as many times as you like.
- Is my data uploaded anywhere?
- No. All calculations happen locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your start and end dates and any holidays you enter are never sent to a server or stored anywhere.
- What counts as a business day?
- A business day is any weekday from Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are treated as weekend days, and any holiday dates you add are also excluded from the business-day total.
- Are the start and end dates included in the count?
- In counting mode, both the start and end dates are included, so a range from a Monday to the following Friday counts all the weekdays in between plus both endpoints. In add mode, the start date itself is not counted.
- How do I add holidays to exclude?
- Use the holiday field to pick a date and click Add holiday. Each holiday you add is skipped in both modes. You can add as many as you need and remove them individually or clear them all at once.
- Can I subtract business days or count backwards?
- Yes. In add mode, enter a negative number of business days to move backwards from the start date. In counting mode, if your end date is before your start date, the tool measures the range between them automatically.
