About CPM Calculator
The CPM Calculator solves the cost-per-thousand-impressions triangle: enter any two of cost, impressions, and CPM, and it instantly computes the third. Pick what you want to solve for, choose your currency, and see the total cost, impressions, and CPM side by side so you can plan ad budgets, compare media buys, or check a rate card in seconds.
It is completely free with no sign-up, no limits, and no ads to remove. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser using plain math — nothing you type is ever sent to a server, stored, or shared. Refresh the page and your numbers are gone.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the CPM Calculator free to use?
- Yes, it is 100% free with no sign-up, account, subscription, or usage limits. You can run as many calculations as you want, as often as you want, at no cost.
- Is my data uploaded or stored anywhere?
- No. All calculations happen locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your cost, impression, and CPM figures are never sent to a server, saved, logged, or shared with anyone. Close or refresh the tab and the numbers are gone.
- What is CPM and how is it calculated?
- CPM stands for cost per mille, or cost per 1,000 impressions. The formula is CPM = (total cost ÷ impressions) × 1,000. So a campaign that spends $500 to reach 250,000 impressions has a CPM of $2.00.
- How do I calculate cost or impressions from a known CPM?
- Switch the 'Solve for' selector. To find cost, use cost = CPM × impressions ÷ 1,000. To find impressions, use impressions = cost ÷ CPM × 1,000. The calculator does the math for you once you enter the other two values.
- Can I use currencies other than US dollars?
- Yes. Use the currency selector to switch between USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, INR, JPY, and BRL. Cost and CPM results are formatted in the currency you choose.
- Why do I get an error when impressions or CPM is zero?
- CPM and impressions calculations involve division, and dividing by zero is undefined. The tool guards against this: enter an impressions or CPM value greater than zero to get a valid result instead of an error.
